Evaluation

Originally we intended to have dialogue, a wider variety of shots and an overall longer sequence but we decided to focus on the editing techniques and camerawork because we think this played to our strengths.

1st Shoot

For the first shoot Franklin was the director, Petros was the cinematographer and I responsible for the props used on set.
We used two of our friends , Angus & Samuel, to play our characters, they suited the descriptions that we had in mind.

2nd Shoot

On the second time of filming i took on the role of the cinematographer, Franklin was the director again and Petros was forced to act due to one of the actors not showing up, as we decided he fitted the description the best. The benefit of this was that we were more focused on the task in hand and there were less distractions.

3rd Shoot

On the 3rd and final shoot Petros and I acted and directed with Franklin also directing but also controlling the camera. We were much more organsied and completed the work to a higher standard than the previous shoots.

Editing & Sound

As Franklin and Petros stuck to strong point of editing, I used my knowledge of music to create the atmosphere in our film such as the sound effect when are title jumps. I also created the soundtrack for the film menu on soundtrack pro and also during the film.

After shooting the 1st two times we decided to organize ourselves and not rely on other people.
We evenly distributed the tasks when it came to producing our film and create our evaluation powerpoint.
